The fastest support answer is often already here.
These answers are intentionally practical. They cover the questions most likely to come up before and after the first product release.
Are any apps available today?
No. Public installers, product purchases, and Paddle checkout links are not active yet. Product pages will be updated before anything is offered for sale.
Where should I download Painless Codeworks software?
Use only links from painlesscodeworks.com or a Painless Codeworks download subdomain. Do not trust third-party download links claiming to provide Painless Codeworks software.
How does the trial work?
Each released app can be used 5 times before a paid license is required. Product pages will explain the trial, license scope, price, and included deliverables before checkout opens.
Who handles payments and receipts?
Paddle will process checkout, taxes, receipts, subscription management if applicable, and refund requests as merchant of record when sales are live.
How do refunds work?
Refund requests made within 14 days of purchase will be accepted for paid software licenses. See the Refund Policy for details.
What should I include in a support email?
Include the app name, app version, Windows version, license email if relevant, a short description of what happened, steps to reproduce it, and any exact error message. The Support page has a copy-and-paste template.
Should I attach problematic input files?
Please describe the issue first. Do not send large files or files containing private, sensitive, regulated, or confidential data unless Painless Codeworks specifically requests them and provides upload instructions.
What if Windows warns me about an installer?
Before installing, confirm the file came from an official Painless Codeworks link. Released installers will list version, file size, signing status, and SHA-256 checksum details on the downloads page.
Where can I see known issues?
Known issues and release history will be published on the Release Notes page.
